Was 2008 boxing's weakest year?

It seems that in 2007 there were more exciting bouts. And this year looks promising and already some good matches have happened. April was the best month so far, with Williams-Wright and Froch-Taylor bringing the good stuff. Also we had Mosley-Margarito in january and now the real good stuff is coming up in fall. Not to mention Money Mayweather's return in September.

The only really good fights I remember from 2008 are Margarito-Cotto and Adamek-Cunningham.

Look at 09 Mosley has had the only good big name fight, this year was/is/Still no good fights that ACTUALLY happened yet....= horrible.

Yes, I will say this is the worst year I remember in boxing.

I thought 2008 was pretty solid. No such thing as a really 'bad yr' in boxing, at least imo.
