Will PACQUIAO/mayweather happen after Cotto beats Pac?

many people wanted to see Pacquiao/Mayweather, but now that the cotto/pac fight is finalized those two will probably never fight. Styles make fights, Pacquiao had more of a chance at beating Mayweather then he does Cotto. Cotto hits harder and is brutal with his body attack and will really give Pacquiao a beating. Lets face it, the win over de la hoya doesn't mean match because de la hoya was weight drained like I said before the fight.

Mayweather's style will be ALOT more problematic for Pac than Cotto's. Cotto will be stuck behind his high guard all night, with Pac coming at him from all angles. Pac's gonna cut him up.

The Mayweather fight probably won't happen though no matter what happens in Pac/Cotto, because both seem to be stubborn in regards to money.

JMM beats Mayweather and Pacquiao beats Cotto= Pac-JMM 3 in May 2010 (Cinco de Mayo weekend)

Mayweather beats JMM and Pacquiao beats Cotto= PBF-Pac in April 2010

Mayweather beats JMM and Cotto beats Pacquiao= either PBF-Cotto or PBF-Mosley in April 2010 (I guess Cotto won't fight this PR June holiday)

JMM beats Mayweather and Cotto beats Pacquiao= I don't know.

The only way it wont happen is if either gets beat in the mean time , its the biggest fight in boxing and if they win their next fights you watch the momentum build for this fight .

i understand what you mean. cotto has more chance of stopping pac than floyd, with that being said fighting cotto is more dangerous

Floyd is a smarter faster and more skilled fighter than both and will match up easy with either. Arum won't let Floyd face these guys why people always act like Floyd can just take the fight and doesn't? Sure he could if he let Arum **** him in the ass on money and every other detail but why would he? he's the king and has the "0" Pac and Cotto are ****** with losses and have to answer to there master, thats there problem...Floyd is simply a better class of fighter and deserves all the money period. he's never been beat ever and no ammount of spin doctoring from Roach or Arum or fans will change that. Floyd should fight Mosley after his tune up anyway and have a real WW championship match at the real limit with the actual champion.

couldnt agree more, to me though, even though mayweather is more skilled than both fighters, hes just as over rated as Pac, and out of the 3, Cotto faced better and more competition over the last 3years, i mean be serious, the hardest fight i saw mayweather in was the 1st 5 rounds against Zab Judah. Everybody is claiming how Pac is the best pound for pound, and i dont think he's even in the top 3 at WW, you have to fight legitmate welterweights, not a catchweight, not when somebody is draining there body to come down.
Same with mayweather, his 1st fight for a championship at WW, was against Carlos Baldomir, are you ****ing serious, then it was Zab, then it was De La Hoya, then Hatton, with the exception of maybe Zab, who did we expect out of that class to beat him. Mayweather is only interested in money at this point in his career, and personally, i agree with Arum's assessment that he's afraid to fight fighters he might have a chance to lose to, because a fight with cotto and Margarito before he lost to shane were long over due.
Cotto on the other hand is a different species, everytime i see him in a fight, i always thought, Ok this will be the guy to beat him, and not only does he prove me wrong, but he usually wins hands down, Cotto doesnt fight slouches, like mayweather does, he wants to fight the best, and unfortunately for him, he would be undefeated if he didnt face Margocheato, which in the long run did more damage to him psychologically, then physically.
All I can say is god forbid cotto hits little ass Pacquiao with the same shots he was cracking margarito with, cause the fight will be over a lot sooner than people think.
