Right now I would say Williams, B-Hop when he was at his best would probably take out Williams but it would still be an interesting fight. Even though I think Williams would win now, he would never be the same after he fought B-Hop.

dawson is another one of my favs, and to me, he and williams fight a lot alike....i wouldn't want to see hopkins-dawson for that reason.

against pwill, hopkins has a better chance, especially if the fight is above 170...

but i can't wait for dawson-williams, in another year or so.

lol...jones, taylor, and calzaghe definitely beat hopkins...had him scared to throw punches all night...

above that, if it was mandatory that he fight natural lightheavys instead of catchweight fights with middleweights, he'd be retired by now guaranteed...

why do hopkins fans have a hard time dealing with the fact that he lost 5 fights...lol

Hopkins, even when beating the crap out of Pavlik, takes rounds off. Williams' volume would be waaay too much for Hopkins AT THIS STAGE of his career. Williams would beat him with the widest margin since a green Hopkins fought RJ.

What if we get a scenario of where Paul Williams totally dominates Kelly Pavlik and Chad Dawson gets another gift decision against Glen Johnson? I would still want to see Hopkins end the Dawson hype for Lightheavyweight clarity, but I would still view Paul Williams as the tougher match up.

Hopkins...There is no way in hell Hopkins allows Williams to have that crazy punch output on him. Hopkins is a ring genius when he shows up to fight.

Off night or not, Williams lost to Quintana. Hopkins would eat him alive.

You really think Paul Williams would be a tougher fight for Hopkins than Chad Dawson?

Thats a tough call but only bc weve never seen PW fight at 175 where BHop would prob want it at....but i think it would be similar 2 Bhop/Calzaghe where PW would just throw way 2 many punches en route 2 a decision win
