Is Chambers the most skilled fighter Wlad has faced?

chambers is much better than ibragimov and chagaev. but hes still just a average fighter when it all comes down to it, lots of big holes in his game. was able to get a titel shot for the same reason wlad got the title, how weak the division is.

Yeah I agree, I think Chambers needs to up his work rate he also stands infront of his opponent doing nothing to much, he could also do with lossing another 5lb-10lb.

I thought Chagaev looked terrible against Drummond and Skelton to be honest, i havent seen much of Ibragimov though.

He didn't look good against Drummond, I'll agree with that. Skelton gives everyone a tough fight though, I don't think anyone has looked great against him.

haha yeah i went to see Danny Williams against Skelton 2 live it was supposed to have Calzaghe as the main event but he got injured and i payed a load of money to see it and the fight was terrible thankfully i got drunk though lol.

It's irrelevant if he is the most skilled because he lacks two main things he would need to be Wlad, Power and a high workrate. He throws a good punch and then stands back and admires it for the rest of the round. He gets beat up by Wlad

He is better at coming forward and pressuring (as seen against Dimitrenko) than Chagaev, Ibragimov and Byrd I'd say.

Yes to answer your question. But that doesn't mean he can win. His style is tailor made for Wlad. Due to his size and VERY heavy hands, the only way to defeat Wlad is going in and out quickly. You don't even need to be very skilled to do so, just have that particular style. Chambers is the type to stay in a distance and absorve punches with his gloves. Wlad will have an easy time dismantling chambers with his jab and right hands. There are not many heavyweights athletic enough to beat Wlad right now. It confuses me to an extent, why do every Wlad opponent try to be so defensive to end up mauled. Don't they study tapes? I mean they go in there and try to outjab him lol. Then they proceed to try and hide their faces with the gloves only to have them shoved into their skulls repetitively and finally quitting or being TKOed. Yeah i know it's easy to talk and I'm sure there's a reason they end up like that but if they know they are going to be KOed why stay for a slow punishment rather than leaping in for the kill risking being KOed? It would make for more spectacular fights even if they lose.

I think Chambers is probably the most skilled fighter that Wlad has faced maybe aside from Byrd but Chambers showed in his last fight that he has better offensive skills.

Chambers has definitely worse defensive skills that Byrd. Eddie was eating a lot. He got away with a MD.
