Ike lost that fight it was his fault, Ike would love to load up on the right hand and wait and wait..it would kill me watching him..if he had just a little more killer instinct in him he would of ended that fight in the 6th round, DLH clearly didnt have his legs under him. And in the 12rd the ropes were holding Ike up, he threw that fight away by not finishing DLH in the 6th.

You've been misinformed. A garden hose is far too thin to be compared to my mang wang.

I thought IQ should have gotten the nod......but what makes me even pissed about this scrap is that DLH had the nerve to tell Larry Merchant in the post-fight interview that he wouldnt do a rematch because he felt like it WASN'T a GOOD fight .......as for the 6th......DLH was more buzzed than IQ......but they was both some pretty left hooks!!

He still fought him though. Who else at WW had the balls to face Quartey??

Meh. Ike wasn't a small name TBH. All the WWs wanted to fight him, and he brought money to the table.

Oba Carr, Jose L Lopez, and Tito was suppose to fight him but he chose to fight DLH instead of Tito. For obvious reasons..$$$$$$$$$$$

Trinidad and Quartey were signed to fight, but the fight got cancelled due promotional issues with Quartey.

Whitaker and Quartey were also supposed to fight, but Pernell tested possitive for coke.

I remmember that, I was all hyped up I really wanted to see them go at it. I remmember when Ike fought Oba Carr the announcers were saying lets see how Ike does againts Carr, Since Carr's only loss was to Tito, they were kinda like setting the stage.
