Does Glenn Johnson Belong On The P4P List?

Glenn Johnson had a great year beating Roy Jones Jr. and Antonio Tarver. Does he belong on the P4P list? If so what number do you have him ranked?

he's a good, solid fighter, but I wouldn't put him on that list right now, just an opinion.

Personal feelings aside (I don't like Tarver), if Johnson belongs in the list, shouldn't Tarver also? I mean it was a close fight, wasn't it. So I wouldn't put Johnson a few step away from Tarver, maybe just one above, within 20.

sure he does. Maybe in the 12-15 range with Tarver a spot or two behind him. he has beaten two quality guys in the past year

Did you see Roy in that fight? He was a shadow of his former self. Tarver was only ever on the p4p list for beating that same old Roy Jones.

Let me put it bluntly for yall. Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver are both good fighters who beat an old fighter who used to be great but isn't anymore. Neither one of them ever belonged on the top 10 p4p list, if you like to believe in such a list.

There are at least 15 fighters more killed p4p than these guys. They are good fighters, B- to B+ level, but I can rap off some names right now that are better or as good on a p4p scale.

            Bernard Hopkins
            Tito Trinidad
            Kostya Tsyzu
            Floyd Mayweather
            Miguel Cotto
            Winky Wright
            Zab Judah
            Oscar De La Hoya
            Cory Spinks
            Rafael Marquez
            Jose Luis Castillo
            Juan Lazcano
            manny Pacquiao
            Marco Antonio Barrera
            Kassim Ouma
            Antonio Margarito
            Zahir Raheem

I agree with you about Johnson, but to put Trinidad above both KT and PBF is just nuthugging. I also notice that you have Cotto in the top 5. Obvious you are PR and you don't have any respect for the sport of boxing, because if you did, you would be realistic and not patriotic.

lol...dude, I'm not a Tito fan. That list isn't in descending order, it's just a ramble from my mind. If I put it from 1 to 10 Tito would be near the bottom.
