You're actually right. Not even Heavyweights can drop this guy. When people bring up how much his chin can tak at 160 i just read their post like they're crazy because Paul has one hell of a chin.

Paul has never been dropped at any weight, not even in sparring.

The real question here is not Williams chin, it's how will Pavlik handle Williams workrate.

The Punisher is 1 of those fighters that doesn't cry about weight!!He weighted 157,or 8 against Winky,he came in under the limit, but got in there & did his thing!!

Celestino Caballero is 5 11 at the lower weight there's no one else at that same height(rarely), is he a midget beater too?

Diego Corrales was 5 11(Or taller i think) at Super Featherweight, was he a midget beater?

Wladimir Klitschko is 6 7 I think, did he ever fight anyone taller than him?

Last but not least, Thomas The Hitman Hearns. End of Story.

the TS said williams wont' have the same workrate at 160... he did not say williams won't have the same workrate against pavlik.

            these are 2 different things.

Pwill had the same stamina in the Winky fight he's always had. Pavlik don't throw many body shots so his stamina at 160 should be fine. It's his chin at 160 I'm worried about. I think he gets KO'd by Kelly.

I don't think Pwill has enough pop in his punches to keep pavlik off him.. And with that crappy defense sooner or later pavliks gonna land that big right hand and good night..

His workrate was fine against Winky, threw about 100 punches a round that one.

I am a big fan of Pavlik, but I pick Williams to give him a boxing lesson. It's not the weight, power, etc that wins Paul Williams the fight, its the movement.Look for Williams to throw a few punches and circle around Kelly.Kelly will not have an answer for this.Of course saying this,I give Pavlik a small chance to punch Williams around if they decide to trade in front of each other (at arms distance-since Pavlik cannot fight well in close-but Williams can),but Pavlik hasn't scored a one punch ko for a while...against Taylor it was a matter of Taylor getting gassed as well as several punches-not just one.In fact, you may have to look all the way back to the Zertuche fight to see what can be considered "one punch ko power".The Lockett,Rubio, and even the Miranda fight cannot be considered 1 punch ko.
The key for Pavlik is to time his 1,2 combos to the head while Williams throws his bazillion punches, then go to the body.Williams lack of defense is what Pavlik needs to focus on and exploit....and he needs to give Williams distance.I believe Williams fights better in close than at a distance, despite his freakish arm span.
