Is Anyone Like Me On Pavlik-Williams?

For so long I have thought that Williams would straight up skool him but as soon as this fight got signed for some reason, now its like I think Pavlik will break him in half. Its like it never hit me until now.

Williams is so weird. Its like he's a freak but not a "super" freak (No Rick James jokes please). By that I mean he can straight go from WW to MW and maybe even higher in one single fight but the truth is that to me he has really only shown to be a great 154 pounder. He hasnt even really fought at that weight but its clearly his best weight. At WW he can dominate but its also clearly too small for him and thats probably why he lost to Quintana. At MW he can dominate but he's still only coming into the ring at 165 pounds. Thats pretty small for that weight even though none of the MW"s seem to go up too high after the weigh-in. He has looked good in his MW fights but he hasnt fought any elite guys in there prime there. I bet he would come into the ring at 165 if he was fighting at 154. I just think thats his best weight but its the worst divison so he doesnt want to fight there.

The bottom line is just that I dont know what will happened. One minute I think he skools him worst than Hopkins and the next minute I think Pavlik will look good again and snap Williams in 2. I think he could pressure him all day like Margarito did in the 2nd half of there fight but do it for 12 rounds and with harder shots. I just dont know. Pavlik has never seen the speed, output, and Southpaw style like Williams. Either way it will be awesome to see. It probably screws up the Floyd fight because I bet some will save some of there PPV money for this fight instead of Floyd-JMM. Mainstream fans probably wont know the difference though

I kinda feel like that a little. We all know Williams throws a ton of punches, it will come down to if Pavlik's punches have much effect on him, if not he should win. If they effect him then it depends on how much Pavlik can land.

If Williams can stand up to Pavlik's right hand, he'll pitch another shut out. If not, he'll get KO'd.

And by the way, it's not a PPV, so it shouldn't have any effect on the Floyd/Marquez buys.

Nah, I used to think Pavlik would break him in half. Now I'm leaning toward Williams winning a decision.

Pavilk wont land as much. PW will keep his fist moving and touching PAvlik. Williams is too much for him

Paul Williams's biggest advantage, size, isn't there for this fight. I think Pavlik starts slow but ends up punishing Paul on way to a decision or late KO.

I'm not sold on Williams, despite the best efforts of his groupies here.

I'm not sure who's going to win this one, but most people seem to be predicting a Williams win. I'm not sure if that's due to the fact that Kelly was embarassed by Hopkins, or that Williams really is that impressive to them.

One thing is for sure ; if Kelly beats his ass he deserves the credit to come with it, and vice versa.

No excuses about Kelly being exposed by Bernard, or Paul not really being a Middleweight.

I'm sick of people making excuses around here ; how about we start crediting these dudes, instead?

You might have a point, P.Will has not faced guys his height, but Pavlik still comes up short as Paul is about 6'3 by some pics Ive seen. Still Williams wont be punching down as much.
