The reason being ; Silva idolizes Roy, he has ever since he was a child.
I find it hard to believe that Roy being the good natured guy we all know him as, is going to go in the ring with the intent of knocking out this poor prick with 0 boxing ability who adores him.
That's some cold ****, and I don't think Roy would do him that way.
It'll be a glorified sparring session, and I wouldn't even be surprised to see Jones lay off the gas pedal at times to make Silva look competitive.

I was going to post a reply, but that pretty much sums it up.
Ali and Silva are the only two guys I know who can avoid punches like this. Silva beats old Roy hands down!!
Have you never seen Pernell Whitaker?
BTW ; that type of evasion is the worst type of evasion from a punch you can do in boxing.
While Ali was seriously gifted and one of the greatest to ever do it ; he had his own share of flaws. One of them being what you just posted ; pulling away from a punch.
Do that, and get caught, and it's lights out.
Angelo Dundee rode his ass hard abou that all the time but he never listened.
He was lucky enough to have the god given speed and abilities to make it work for him though, much like Silva.
I have never seen Silva fight before, but Roy has been boxing most of his life. Silva is excellent, as I have heard, in his own respectable sport. However this would be a boxing match, and Roy's reflexes are still there even though he has slowed down and is well pasted it.
