Jones was clearly outworking and outboxing tarver through the rounds but tarver for the last 20-30 seconds was trapping him and beating him up.So that is where much of the controversy comes from.I scored it 7-5 to jones and an alleged robbery is an absolute ****** claim

I remember not watching the fight live and hearing how good Tarver had fought against Roy, after I got to see it I thought it was more Roy looking like **** then Tarver doing anything great. After the Ruiz fight the old Roy would only come out in flashes but he was never the same fighter.

This fight should have shown everyone the heart Roy had. After all those years of dominating he finally gets a competitive fight, he is drained and clearly not his best, and he still had the skill and heart to pull it off. This was his last hurrah.
