Skelton Ready to Put a Fright into the Heavyweight Division

Undefeated British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Matt Skelton has won all sixteen of his contests since turning pro in 2002 and the fearsome 250lb brawler looks forward to adding another trophy to his collection on Friday night as he meets Argentine strongman Fabio Moli for the vacant WBU crown. Moli has prepared for this difficult challenge in a most unusual manner and his vitriolic comments have set the stage for what could be one of the most exciting heavyweight clashes on British soil in recent memory. Should the man from Bedford, England prevail against the well experienced Moli, a pairing with Mike Tyson conqueror Danny Williams is on the horizon with a crack at one of the four major world title belts a distinct possibility for later this year. While many outside of Britain are unfamiliar with Skelton, his co-managers Frank and Eugene Maloney are confident that will change in short order as the hyper aggressive heavyweight continues to climb the divisional ladder one brutal rung at a time.

Skelton is Audrey Harrisons worst nightmare. Harrison doesn`t want to fight him and i think most British heavies such as Danny Williams will avoid him.
Lets get Skelton over to the US and let him have a decent career.

Matt skelton is a great fighter the only thing going against him is his age. But its not all bad, his fitness does not seem to be that of a 38 year old and more of a 30 year old (ie bernard hopkins) His career has come along quickly as he only has a little time in the game. He is not the perfect fighter but i believe that in the current situation that the heavyweight division he could be king. He has the ability to dethrone vitali as he has the strength to out muscle him and the power to stop him. I believe this fight is not far away and could be made around september.

I too havent seen this Skelton, but judging from his opponents he sure wouldnt put the fear of god into the top yank heavies. He's 38 years old and he sure isnt a hopkinks as ffar as experience goes.I think he'll turn out to be just another typical British heavy ..heavy on hype but no substance.
