Nah, I was a big Floyd fan for years before the hype started. I fell off being a fan of his when he didn't take the tough challenges when he reached his peak.

I respect dude's craft to the fullest, but he hasn't had a real challenge in years...not because nobody was there, but because he chose not to fight them. Tough for me to support a dude like that who claims he's the best yet hasn't fought other fighters out there who claim the same (and have a legit claim behind it).

This is pretty much exactly my view. I used to be a real Floyd fan, but i guess I'm more dissapointed than anything, cuz he went into retirement so early w/o facing these other guys. Plus he was starting to get a little boring to watch. Too defensive. Runs around the ring pot-shotting his opponent, and doing it well), but he don't stand and fight. to much bike riding and not enough taking chances.

And he brags too much, then takes on a jww. [correction=JMM is listed as a WW...my bad.] Don't be surprised if this fight isn't exciting. I want to see what he does after this fight.

Cotto did qoute; Floyd knows where to find me if he wants me. Floyd said Cotto was too green.

do they forget how quick,accurate,smart and defensive this guy is??cause on this forum atleast people think anyone can beat him....im sorry floyd fan or not...it will take a perfect fight to beat floyd..he doesnt make many mistakes,doesnt have any real flaws and is a sharp shooter...you can dislike a fighters personality but dont act like he hasnt fought anyone or isnt one of the most skilled fighters to ever enter the ring.................

I think that's because we're all talkin about him fighting at Welterweight now. With the exception of Castillo, I havent read a name below 140 that did, or would, get the better of Floyd.
