Roach: Cotto’s power won’t be a problem for Pacquiao

What is wrong with you? I'm ok with his opinion, just tired of hearing him make predictions and the way he says things. If he says "i'll have Pacquiao prepared for anything cotto brings and we'll win fight" I'm ok with that. When he makes predictions and makes it seem like his fighter in invincible, that is annoying. If he believes it, i'm cool with that. Just tired of hearing him talk, still think he is a great trainer.

Well, it seems you didn't carefully read what you bolded. Roach: "I’m training Manny not to get hit." That's what every trainer does with their ward--train not to get hit. Mayweather Sr. anyone? That's obvious.

And if Roach makes a prediction that he truly believes in --that's absolutely his own honest opnion on the state of his fighter's abilities. There's nothing wrong there.

Cotto isn't as nearly as fast as Pacquiao. Cotto does have a mean punch, but can he hit Pacquiao? That's the question. Pacquiao's big, but Cotto is waaay bigger.

roach is just talking as any trainer would. difference is when most trainers talk it doesn't make espn news , ring magazine , etc.

if you interview cotto's trainer right now , he's not gonna say how they can deal with manny's speed and how it won't be a problem?

He is good at it and WE ALL know that this is roach's style. He is trying to rattle cotto and his camp which i find funny. I'll admit, it rattles me and other fans, same way cotto rattles pac fan by demanding 147 and making fans believe he won't put title on line. It's all for the media and the negotiations. There are people that give quotes and comments about others and still get their point across. Maybe i went to far by saying roach disrespected cotto....JUST THINK HE'S A JOKE. Also, not looking for **** to post, that is your area. I think Roach is a veryyyyyy good trainer and pacquiao a good fighter. Maybe i just like the boxers/trainers that don't do the talking but still take care of things in the ring, so many trainers like that. I don't think he said anything wrong against Cotto and I don't think he dissrespected Cotto in the least. I would be confident to if I was Manny Pacquiao's trainer...lol. The guy is a ***in beast, coming from 106lbs in his career to now be fighting a lagit WW, amazing.

I really like Roach I guess, I mean the man has Parkinsons and yet still does what he does day to day. Plus he knows his ****, there's no doubt about that. Not to mention he's a nice guy and just very likable.

roach last 3 fights predictions are superb , his prediction on bradley is 100% correct, so interviewers go to roach because he knows whats hes saying. he earned respect from the media by giving correct assessment to the fight so people go to him

He is a VERY GOOD trainer who is a JOKE with SOME.....REPEAT...SOME of his comments. He IS the HOTTEST trainer and gets interviewed alot and likes to talk. You are right, just don't like him. I respect all that he has done even with his medical condition, just don't like him. I cannot stand pitcher CURT SCHILLING, but know that he might get into hall of fame, just don't like him.
