uh, he did fall completely out of the ring onto concrete. The video doesn't show the impact either, so you cant sit there and say, oh well he could have fought on, etc. without even seeing the actual impact of the fall. All you see is the before and after shots, not the actual impact. On top of that his body was all twisted and distorted.

Hopkins has proven to be one of the hardest workers in the sport, never backs down, etc. It seems silly that he didn't want to continue against a guy like robert allen, unless he was truly hurt, especially considering he ko'd allen in the rematch, and then 4-5 years later kicked his ass again.
