Indeed, Bowe would have been to much for Lewis by 1993. Bowe was highly skilled, Lewis wasnt. Lewis wasnt a great fighter after a couple of years with Stewart. Rememer hes fight with Mercer and Briggs. But he became a great fighter later in hes career,

Great posst by the way. Anyway, what wasnt written was that Bowe and Lewis was going to meet in March 1995. But Lewis lost to McCall, and the fight was cancelled since none of them would fight each other in a non title fight.

Did you even watch the fight at the olympics ?, it was a disgrace the referee was hugely biased against Bowe, giving him random warnings.
Bowe should of been allowed to continue, the supposed KO punch that Lewis gave Bowe was nothing compared to what Bowe was doing to Lewis in the 1st round.
