lewis almost always looked bad in the early rounds, bruno had him in far worse trouble just to name one. lewis is a thinker, he takes the early rounds to figure his oponent out. he figured vitali out in a couple of rounds just like all his other oponents and then proceeded to beat the dog **** out of him.

If people use Lewis beating on a blind Vitali as proof of a pending KO then why can't the Lewis huggers agree a clear eyed Vitali was beating him pretty easily. Without the cut Vitali probably wins but Lewis prevented us from ever knowing what would've happend by suddenly retiring instead of rematching the toughest challenge of his career.

Both are ifs. The only definite is Lewis stopped Vitali in six. That's that. Get over it.

Tell me - if you turned off the TV in the middle of the third round of Lewis-Briggs, who would you say was going to win? Geezus, even Mike Tyson won the first ****ing round against Lennox.

Are you the guy that seriously thinks those 12 consecutive illegal kidney punches that Lennox landed while holding Vitali, actually secured the 5th round for him?

The truth is, Vitali outlanded Lennox in every one of those 6 rounds, and the judges were charitable in giving him the two rounds they did. A punch caused the punch, but a headbutt made it worse, and if they'd gone to the scorecards at any time after the 4th, Vitali would've won the fight.

It's morons like #1A$$ that keep this debate going, by continuing to say that Vitali didn't belong in the same ring as Lennox, when the fight proved he did.

Without the cuts, Lennox would've had to win 5 of the next 6 rounds to win, or knock him out. Since he'd already eaten Lennox's best shots, Vitali wasn't getting knocked out.
