Is Manny Pacquiao a good businessman?

When Manny fought DelaHoya, the negotiations were long and brutal.Manny threated the fight would not be done,in the end he got a bigger percentage.

Steps in Hatton and the process is the same.Hatton threatened to pull out and he wasnt gonna have anything less than 50-50.Official papers filed before the fight show that the split was 50-50.It is claimed that Arum topped up some 2% more to Pacquiao from his own pocket.Arum is not dump, that statement about 2% could have been a face saver than an actual top up.Whether that 2% was actually recieved only Top rank knows.

Now we are talking about Cotto.Things are being asked for left right and centre. The fight which was supposedly a done deal hasnt been signed yet.Everytime we are told by 'Monday the fight will be signed' and the Monday is like the end of the Rainbow. It's Manny's demands once more.Cotto is principled,if you are wise the effort you put in is less.Seems like Cotto has set his demands,is not worried about what Manny is saying,he's already training.

Is Manny a smart businessman or how do you see these protracted negotiations? Is this being smart or being a bad negotiator and being ineffective an inefficient at the same time?No hating ,lets just be analytical
