Hatton was very aggressive, and come on man NO ONE was saying Floyd would stop Hatton. I chose Floyd by late TKO there for the same reson. Accumilation of punches. That would be the case if Cotto wasn't aggressive and had no Boxing skills. You can't tell me he fights a harder puncher in Mosley and takes his shots without dropping and gets pot shotted to death by Mayweather.
The blueprint to beating Hatton isn't at all the blueprint to beating Cotto.Comment

Ok, so it's more like....you used to like him but you don't now. That's ok, everybody has an opinion and i respect that right. I might be looking for someone to bet with later...You're a respectable guy here, if i was to bet with someone you'd be one of my 1st choices. IF...you're betting for Pac.The Dapadrean quote is in my sig because it is so ridiculous it became comedic gold. Also, I have always liked Cotto, and have made many threads praising him if you want to take the time to look through my history, its just that he has reminded me of a kenyan against Tony, and Shane late, and lance Armstrong in the tour De France against Clottey.Comment

But see, we don't know how Floyd would do against a strong WW because he's never really fought one. Yea, Floyd has more skills than both Mosley and Cotto, but that alone sometimes doesn't win fights. I for 1 don't see Floyd being very offensive against either Cotto or Mosley and would use his defense to try to win the fight. But where he was successful at that against Hatton being he rushed in and had no set plan on how to attack is where I see both Cotto and Mosley being effective. They've been in there with much harder punchers and overall bigger fighters to where they'd take risks Floyd probably won't.I'm dead serious when I say that. I would suport Cotto in that fight, and would be rooting for him just as I supported Cotto against Zab Judah, but Floyd would basically land at will. Floyd is a much better boxer than Mosley and is faster, and actually uses his legs for offense as well as defense I am not saying that Floyd would be hurting him with single shots, but getting him right on the button round after round, and not landing much of anything on your opponent wears you down mentally and physically, and I think Cotto would be done by the 11th and get TKOed. Say what you want about Mayweather, but if he has you done he tried to put you away.
I've said this time and time again, though Floyd is a great Boxer, his styles isn't unbeatable. With Mosley's aggression and Cotto's patience and deceptive skills, either dude to me has a great shot at beating him, it's just that people play the comparison game too much with whomever else Floyd's fought making it seem even a Cotto or Mosley couldn't beat him.Comment

I picked Floyd to win by KO too, but because I knew the type of fighter Hatton was. He has no head movement, had no set plan of attack, and I saw all of this with his fight against Collazo. He doesn't use his jab to set anything up and just bum-rushed you, hugged you and tried to rough you up.Comment

LOLOLOLOL! C'mon SB, he had one eye! I think he did a great job protecting it while being the aggressor in the last two rounds 'specially, and catching and closing the show with a really nice left hook right to Clotteys jaw!The Dapadrean quote is in my sig because it is so ridiculous it became comedic gold.
