What were incorrect calls in boxing history? Every once in a while it happens.. a little too often in boxing depending on who you ask. But what were some incorrect calls IYO? I'll start, post some more.
- Marco Antonio Barrera knocks down Manny Pacquiao in the first round of their first fight together. I believe this clearly should have been ruled a slip.
- Floyd Mayweather Jr. credited with a slip in the 2nd round of his fight against Zab Judah. It was a flash knockdown where a punch caused Mayweather to lose his balance. Although he was in no way even stunned, it was technically a knockdown IMO.
- Nate Cambell ruled to have been cut via a punch. The cut was the result of a headbutt and should probably not have been ruled as a loss.
