Berto says he will likely unify titles and get the IBF Belt

Read this on a site that talks about boxing. December 5th or 21st are his HBO dates he believes. He said he is also has a $5-6 million to fight in Turkey. But he said its just rumors. He wants the Mosley bout. He said him and Shane have to both be happy about the money.

So my question is should Shane just face Clottey? Let Berto unify and make that fight happen next year for a huge unification bout. Probably the inner will have no choice but to get a mega fight,

The easier fight for Shane is Berto, plus he has a belt. Berto would demand more $$ because he is a champ but in reality hant faced anyone noteworthy. Clottey I think would beat Berto easily and would give Shane a really tough fight.

      Berto unify?

He should rematch the only top 10 fighter he fought who arguably beat him in Collazo.

Word on the street is that Collazo wants more money than last time. So HBO isn't to interested in the fight anymore

I'm just sick of seeing Berto being protected by his promotor like this.

Berto is one of the most boring fighters on the planet. I'm sick of Kellerman riding his erect staff too. The guy got schooled by Collazo on the inside all night and has beaten a lot of blown up 140lbers and cab drivers. HBO are paying through the nose for this nonsense while the true fans are wanting proper match ups.

The sooner this hypejob is demolished by Mosely, Cotto, Clottey, Williams etc etc; The better.

The sad thing is that I was so high on Berto until I seen the Collazo fight. His inside game made me lose intrest in him. Then the Urango fight really turned me off. I even thought at one time he would give Cotto major problems, lol.

clottey imo should take on someone like collazo, quintana or someone else in the top 10, imo he needs a win to announce himself as a real player in the WW's. his losses to cotto and margarito and his DQ loss to baldo doin't give an accurate image of him as a fighter. imo i think he needs a few good wins that would really help him at the negotiating table.

as for shane id love to see him face off against berto and then hopefully take on clottey in 2010.

berto is a top 10 fighter but hes not got the skills, chin or quality to hang with cotto, SSm or clottey. the sooner he loses the better for the entire WW division.

Hlaatshwayo's style plays right into Berto's hands, it's not a bad fight though.
