    Foreman was a bad man

Did any of you see the story on ESPN about the fighter who started using steroids after losing to Foreman. It was a sad story and the guy lost both of his legs because of it but Im here to talk about Foreman.

George looks like the baddest Mutha I have seen in the ring. Everytime I see film of one of his old fights, it just looks like he's trying to kill people. He didnt punch you, he punched through you. He has to be the hardest puncher ever, even over guys like Tyson and Shavers. I dont see how this guy lost. You have to give Ali credit but alot of people thought something was wrong with George in that fight. Like he was scared of the whole Manilla situation. He just looks like he's killing guys whenever he hits them and while some thought he was slow, I think he had that kind of slick Zoo quickness. Like there not fast fighters but they are the fastest at letting there hands go from point A to point B. The body blows this guy was landing was vicious. I love to watch his prime fights and even his fights during the begining of the comeback against I think it was Clooney. He had those quick powerful combos

Yeah Rumble in the Jungle was the one with foreman and that was the first i saw of him, looking like a fool, but when I saw him versus Cooney it was awesome. He paws with an overhand right and then comes with a huge left uppercut. when Cooney gets up for more, he just walks right through him, doesn't even stop his feet when smashing him with a left. crazy that guy was crazy.

Big George vs Lyle is one of the greatest heavyweight fights ever, you didn't know which fighter was going to go down for the count! It was awesome, I have never seen another Heavyweight fight like it - it was like a Rocky movie for real! I love Big George, he is my alltime favorite Heavyweight...

              Foreman was a bad man

Yeah, the young george foreman was the man, he was very heavy handed. He pounded virtually everyone he fought. I still laugh when I seen the dances floyd patterson and joe frazier did, when he punched them on top of their heads. Ali really showed his greatness in the fight against foreman...

the reason george was great, was because he was dedicated to training. he didn't slack off, or let his personal life **** with it. he put boxing first. thus he never aged in the ring and had phenomic power

another guy that was alot like this was marvin hagler.

edited: and the guy that got his legs cut off, i have respect for him because he was a fighter, but however I will always think he is a douchebag for 1. cheating and 2. bragging about a weak 300lb bench

I know...that was uncalled for. "Is still pump IRON, I can bench about 300lbs.." and what about when he said sometimes he wish he can go back to doing steroids just to show people what it can do...I don't think that's the reason he wants to go back..

Yea his fight was held in Africa but apparently Ali had worked the other Africans up into thinking that Foreman was white and that the fight was a race thing. From everything that I ahve read, the people of africa HATED Foreman and he felt a tremendous ammount of anxiety about the fight and I think that it affected him when they fought.
