    Cotto is a slower version of jose luis castillo

    THere I said it, if Castillo can't beat mayweather, how can cotto possibly do it?

          Nah, Cotto isn't a pressure fighter. He is more of a boxer-puncher. He uses the jab but goes for power punches over anything else. Probably why he gases by the 7th round.

          I like this relation though. I never would have though of Cotto being like Castillo but it makes sense. Cotto is basically like Castillo but bigger and slower.

            But Castillo was more of a brawler..did you see when him and Corrales (RIP) went at it..wow..Castillo had a chin, Cotto is more crafty, they dont fight the same way.

              very true, but cotto jabs with his power hand, there fore I see his jab as a power punch rather then a regular jab used to set up combos.

                  they both try to achieve the same thing, body punches and tight powerful combinations, but they do it in different ways
