They fight with different styles, but they both got a great set of hands. You watch both of their prime years and it's just awesome.

Cotto's biggest asset as a fighter is his power on the early rounds of a fight and that's about it. He's boxing skills is mediocre and he has problem with gassing out during mid to late rounds.

cotto is a good offensive fighter defense not so good but aight jmm is solid at everything jmm is a very good fighter i like both so i say tie lol

They are pretty even skill wise, although cotto has a better jab and marquez has a better uppercut. The thing is though that JMM stamina and punch accumulation are better so he doesn't fade and is therefore the better overall boxer. If Cotto had JMM stamina and resistance he would be on even terms with JMM and would have gotten Margo late but skill wise they are about the same.
