A cutmans job is to show up the night of the fight and stop the bleeding. What business does he have with the fighters training?

Does it mean he weren't there during sparring sessions while on training??? Though with head gears on their heads it's not 100% protection from accidental cuts, so who will do the proxy to do his job when cuts occured during training?

Diaz does not have any magic on his hands to stop any type of wound. The only good thing that Diaz does well is kiss ass my lifting the boxer on his shoulder, other than that in the time he worked with Cotto did not show me anything extraordinary. Also by choosing Pacquiao over Cotto, What do you expect from Diaz? To choose Cotto, no way... Pacquiao will be paying good money to say little bit of the trash before the fight. Cotto by KO in 6 rounds is my prediction.

I don't think it is that big a news. It's just that the name of both of Cotto and Pacquiao are involved. So relax Champ. It's just some journalists can be likened as nuthuggers too. Obviously, some journalists go for quantity rather than quality.

i gotta disagree homie...he closed that hole in his mouth he got vs judah and then mosley when it reopened..not too mentiont he countless cuts he's had over his brows...Diaz is a magic man.

Nothing bad to say about Miguel Diaz, but I thought that Joe Chavez is one hell of a cutman. He work on Pacquiao's side for a couple of fights. One that stood out the most to me is the fight against Marquez (2nd fight). Pacquiao was cut in his right eye and Joe Chavez did a great job in stopping the bleeding. As for Miguel Diaz, he work on Pacquiao's last fight and we all know how that ended, so i'm just curious on how well he can stop a cut from constantly bleeding, if Pacquiao is to get cut by COTTO.

PACQUIAO by stoppage in 11rds. COTTO's corner will be waving the towel NO MAS NO MAS...and will see Miguel Diaz lift PACQUIAO on his shoulders again..my prediction
