no wants is crying i am setting it straight..and if u can say that LL won that fight and not the cut.plz...come on that was a close fight..a great fight...LL was gonna make great money out of a rematch..and like u say he won then why wouldnt he be confidence he can do it again and for a great pay day????

instead of.."no i am gonna stay retired i wanna be known as one of the men that left when he was on top"

newsflash..u fought threw the most crap era in HW history...a old evandre...got ko'ed TWICE by "not so good fighter"...ko'ed a shot tyson and when u find a man that can match up u dont give hima rematch

truth is LL was good bu would have never made it in the 70's or 80's HW divison..there was so much alent..even shavers would have ko'ed him

I think Vitali can beat any HW out there besides James Toney.

wtf. you can loose a fight even if you were capable of winning. that's what rematches are for. chance for redemption. it's been known to happen.

as much as i hate to say it dlh vs tito
            the gatti-ward sage

            these are examples

u dont have to win the fight to get the respect of them...u can lose and people still know who won...

the gatti-ward sage is a example of heart and guts showing..to fans that sage no one won..only the fans did..and thats what i great..and thats what LL denied us of

like JMM/manny...great fight..rematch..its not that hard...if LL would have gotten ko'ed it would have only added to his legacy cuz it would be known he didnt back down

example 3-sturm vs oscar..who won that fight ..oscar..but whoever watched that fight the next day they guy they where talking about was sturms preformance

no the truth is that you obviously dont like Lewis and are letting your hate for him cloud your judgment.

your saying the cut won the fight not Lewis? that doesn't even make any sense. Do you want to tell me how all 7 cuts got on Vitali's face?...Oh thats right by PUNCHES that Lewis landed on him thats how. I mean those are the rules aren't they?

Maybe he wants to retire because he's 39 years old, Maybe he wanted to retire because he had been a pro for 15 years, Maybe he wants to retire because he saw his heart wasn't in it anymore, Maybe he wants to retire because he wanted to start his family, Maybe he wanted to retire because he didn't want to become a sad boxing cliche and hang around too long, Maybe he wanted to retire because he actually wanted to go out on top with and with dignity, Maybe he wanted to retire because he still has all his brain cells.

You know...just some reasons. Only a fool would actually try and critasize someone for wanting to go out on top.

Newsflash the 90 were actually a damn good heavyweight era, Hell Max Kellerman calls them the 2nd best era ever. You actually have the balls to say the 80's were better. The 80's had Holmes early and Tyson late other than that there is not one name worth mentioning.

              Lewis
              Holyfield
              Tyson
              Bowe
              Mercer
              Morision
              Moorer

How on earth can you call Evander Holyfield old when he fought lewis? Holyfield held 2/3 of the heavyweight title going into that fight and was fighting aswell as he had ever fought.

Yes he lost twice due to getting ****y, but would you like to tell me what happend after he lost to both men?...Oh thats rigfht he came back to kick there asses in rematches. Correcting the mistakes he made in the first fights.

              Lewis resume includes
              88 Olympic Gold Medal
3 Time World Champion(Only Ali and Holyfield have done that)
16 title defense(3rd all time behind Louis and Holmes)

Vitali can only pray to have a career half as decorated.

when someone wins fair and square there is no need for redemption. Vitali couldn't get the job done and thats his fault.

redemption for VK for losing. Not for LL. I agree he doesn't need to be "redeemed". But I think the fight was close enough not to count out the idea of a rematch. Too bad Lewis retired.

he didnt fight those guys in the 90's though come on..evander was his best win and thats cuz evander was rusty by the time he fought LL..

                    -i respect LL

-U even said it..he may not be in it cuz he doesnt have the heart anymore..ok but then why is he feedng us crap that he won fair and won every round..that what he saids to this day u knwo that right.i wouldnt complain but i just saw him in a interview about a week ago..and said he was is one of the top 3 HW of all times..(anyone else see this on the sunshine chanel) anyway..the guys he beat (and two losses) get him in top 10 to some but on my list he's around 12th there was way better then him

-duh i f**king know its "HIM" who landed the punches..its a saying man come on..wha i ment is (cuz i guss i have to explain it to u cuz u cant figure it out) Vk was doing well-winning on most people cards..but yeah some punches from lewis opened a cut..but VK was landing more..connect more flush and power punches..get it..he was the one winning..lewis didnt prove anything except u can cut a white guy- ohhhhh big surprise..that not racial we all know white skin is easier to cut and bruise..but Vk was winning so why no rematch

-now i am not trying to say he didnt lose..he lost true but won in people and fans more..so thats all i am saying...this thing started from LL not wanting to give hima rematch ok thats cool whatever..but dont for one second say thats LL was winning and showed he was the best guy

-out of all the guys in the 90's...the only one that would have made it in 70's might have been holyfield...lewis is like VK they use there height to there advantage and reach...holy had skills and height

Why should Lewis give a damn about Vitali?
