I doubt Jones has money problems.

Him throwing a fight against a mixed martial arts fighter would be a terrible blow to his legacy and he does care about that a lot.

In truth it will probably be no more serious than many of the exhibitions the likes of Archie Moore and Muhammad Ali had against wrestlers.

This a bull**** fight! Roy Jones is doing it for the money, he said alot of times that he loves MMA so it's like 90% sure hes cashing out and ****ting on boxing while doing it. Jones is stabbing boxing on the back!

No matter what type offight they do Jones is pulling a stunt! That's the whole point of this fight. MMA is trying to become the biggest and best combat sport so they get this old washed up boxer whom is done to fight their top guy, anyone can see Jones aint getting another mega fight so hey why not make this boxing vs mma and make a couple mill just to get K.O and promote MMA some more, Jones is a promoter so it all makes sense. More money for him.

Anderson Silva has 4 fights remaining on his UFC contract including the UFC 101 matchup with Forrest Griffin. So provided this is true, Silva may be able to fight one more time in 2009. Which would leave 2 more MMA fights in 2010, which means the fight with RJJ couldn't take place until at least the end of 2010 or early 2011 at the earliest. Anderson Silva has gone from one of the most heralded fighters in MMA, to one of the most criticized after his last two fights. Would you be interested in watching a RJJ/Anderson Silva boxing match if it happened a year or so from now?
