LMAO, has hopkins ever been close to being KO'd in his career?

Why in the world would tarver out of all people, who isn't a knock out artist, KO hopkins?

Hopkins is much too smart and crafty for Tarver to get hit flush, not too mention the man has a great chin.

The only way I could ever imagine hopkins getting KO'd is if he did something completely absurd and fought like Vitali Klitschko in his prime or some **** like that.

And btw, it's ******ed to blame the loss on tarver being weight drained. Hopkins style is one that makes guys like Tarver look like ****. Hopkins is a pro at taking away peoples jab and one two punch (see pavlik as another example). You take that away from tarver and he has absolutely nothing left.

Hopkins makes people look so ****ty people just cant accept that hopkins is the one making them look so bad, so they blame everything else. Tarver said he could have been poisoned, or weight drained (even though he said Jones cant use that as an excuse), he said it "wasn't him in the ring." Pavlik said he was sick, too much weight and it "wasn't him in the ring." Trinidad has nothing on his punches, wasn't the same tito we all know inside the ring. Is it a coincidence that all of these great fighters, just happen to have the worst day of their proffesional careers against hopkins? Or is it BECAUSE of hopkins they have their worst career fights? ****, even Joe Calzaghe who won a split decision says that was his worst performance of his career. Clearly there is a pattern here....

Hopkins is a fluke @ 175, tarver would beat him in a rematch

Lemme have it now, you B-Hop nuthuggers!
maybe if Hopkins gives him a couple free shots. Even if he was weight drain he still didn't even hurt Hopkins once. If you have power it'll always be there

No way. Could YOU knock out a guy if you had lost over 40 pounds??

              no way in hell.

hopkins is a better fighter than tarver, and even if he wasnt hes a stylistic nightmare for tarver. and even if all that wasnt the case and tarver could beat hopkins, he still wouldnt do it by KO. he doesnt have that kind fo power. good power but not the type of power u need to KO someone like hopkins. and exactly why would the jones fights take anything out of him? he didnt take any real damage in eighter one of them. harding was the only one to get to tarver pre hopkins.

Has Tarver even looked impressive at all since his Glen Johnson win? Tarver has not done anything and theres no way he could have knocked out Hopkins. No one has yet and Tarver wasn't going to be the one to do it

Thats why I said a 2004 Tarver could do it. Not the 2006 one.
