    Rewatching Quintana vs Williams

Look how simple movement and timming made Williams look like a fool.

I reckon he have a very good chin dude got stunned a couple of times and he was hit flush but he didnt went down.

Quintana, just moved, feint and shoot all night, an WIlliams couldnt handle it. matters of fact, he got his rythim thrown off, because he needs a stationary target to unleash his 100+ punches.

This is why i think, he will have a tougher time fighting guys like martinez and Santos, than with guys like Clottey, Cintron or Margarito again.

I cam to realiza that if he can Take Pavliks right hand he beast him too. But I dont think he will stan to that power.

I don't think Williams trained hard enough for this fight. He took Quintana lightly and was partying a lot from reports. Rematch was a brutally quick affair that almost killed Quintana (literally). I don't think we will ever see that Williams turn up again (Quintana I) - especially not against the lineal Middleweight champ.

No other welterweight fights like Quintana though...outside of Floyd who could move like that?

And Pavlik is a stationery target...he stand right in front of you...Paul will beat him...anyone think otherwise can put their points up...

You know the real reason Williams lost is because he had that ****** ass mohawk...

I was just thinking yesterday how in the hell did Quintana beat WIlliams after all the guys Williams has beat? But he did KO him in the first round of their rematch so that just goes to show he had a bad night lke all fighters do. He might have made the ancient mistake of under-estimating his opponent and not training hard enough. But he got his revenge.

Exactly yer. Williams had just been to war with a loaded Plasterito and took him convincingly 7-5. Just a bad night for Williams I think and a great night for Quintana.

Whether Paul didn't take him seriously or not, Quintana's activity and skills exposed Williams' occasionally porous defense.

That's exactly why Cotto beats him.

Pavlik may be a stationary target, but he has a ton of power and throws a lot of punches. Williams gets hit way too often for me to pick him over Pavlik.
I agree though, guys like Sergio Martinez would give Paul a lot of trouble. He is a guy that is very talented and ackward, but far from unbeatable.

I was shocked when Quintana beat him. I agree with the above posts that he maybe did not train hard enough cause he didn't take Quintana serious enough. I think the re-match proved it. I think I might take Williams over Pavlik if it happens. Hard to tell.
