People need to make their mind up on what Floyd is. I see many people saying ''Floyd is scared of Manny he won't fight him'' but in the next paragraph say ''He will only accept if he is paid X amount.....''.

I personally think the guy is greedy and not a coward. I have no doubt in my mind that if he was offered a reasonable amount of money he would fight pretty much any fighter a 147, 140lb and 154lbs.

Being greedy in the sport isn't a sign of cowardice, I don't even think it's a bad thing. How long you can box is severely limited by injuries that don't actually fade. Just training to box can give you all sort of wrist problems.

People will always put their personal interests first. Manys is to see him beat down, his is to make as much money as possible.

In this situation the two contradict one another. You can't say someone is a coward and won't step in the ring with X fighter then admit they would take the fight if they were paid enough.

Hatton's dad tried saying Pacquiao was scared of Hatton. It turned out Pacquiao wanted the bigger cut. Now if the fight never took place it would be incorrect to say Pacquiao feared Hatton.

Say what you will about Mayweather, I haven't seen him turn down a fighter for a smaller pay check.

If he fought Margarito instead of Balddomir he would be a coward for ducking Baldomir. I remember some idiot sports pundit telling Mayweather how was ducking Baldomir so don't tell me otherwise.

Cotto would pay less money than De La Hoya and Hatton.

I think floyd is just a little delusional as to what his fans and the rest of the boxing world owe him. I give him credit for a lot and agree that he would beat most of the dudes he talks **** about. But in Floyd's mind, just saying you can beat someone is just as good as proving it.

If I was inclined to deliberate I’d say he’s greedy solely on the basis of using the negotiating table as a bargaining chip to bow out of fights; which in turn could be interpreted as being cowardly by some. It’s one thing when you proclaim yourself the best through skill and will (which to a degree he has demonstrated) but it’s another when he does so against opponents who are legitimate threats and declines to fight because of “lack of drawing power.”
