I said that cuz of what I seen in past Cotto fights. Marg, and to a lesser degree Clottey, hurt him goin right at him. The other guys who hurt Cotto did so when he walked into sumthin. Cotto's chin is decent, but he lacks defense. Mr boat buyer won't go all out in a fight without a clear opportunity for damage. I wouldn't expect him to stop Cotto flat out. But if he managed to hurt Cotto via counterpunch, I don't see Cotto gettin off the hook. And this is comin from a Cotto fan who can't stand Mr boat buyer anymore homies.

Is Mayweather a bigger puncher than Margs and Clottey? The answer is no. Mayweather can't stop Cotto and going full force trying to do that would be suicide for Mayweather because Cotto will take his punches and hit him even harder. Is just not happening Mangler, Mayweather doesn't have the tools to stop a fighter like Cotto.

I think we'll have a better idea after the Pac fight. If Cotto can find and beat Pac, folks will think he can beat Floyd and for sure that fight won't happen then. Best scenario for Floyd is that Pac wins, he fights Pac and retires again.

i think you have floyd confused with someone who doesn't want money...it's pretty clear that if cotto beats pac...he will be the man...and floyd want's to fight them man...cause the money will be there...

oh and i don't think cotto would stand a chance...floyd will beat on his ass all night...he most likely won't ko him unless he feels he has to (cotto trying to apply pressure in the later rounds)...he doesn't have half the speed or ring intelligence to go 10 with floyd let alone 12...not saying that cotto won't put up a fight...but his face will be a mess by round 8...

I just don't think that Cotto is good enough on offence or defense to really beat Floyd. How Floyd would go after Cotto is kind of up for debate, I kind of think Floyd would stop him but that really isn't the most likely scenario.

It is boxing and you never know so of course Cotto could possibly win, I just really don't see his path to victory.

Your logic would make perfect sense if Castillo had actually beaten Floyd, I don't know what fight some people were watching but Castillo barely did enough to make it close and not enough to have won it.
