He is the real deal, he hasn't faced anyone good yet. To me, Linares, Juanma, Elio Rojas are the future, I see all 3 going far. Linares is looking to fight Soto, he can beat Soto but 126 is the dividion right now, we're talking about Elio Rojas, Gamboa, Juarez, Chris John...Linares should try and jump at that, more so because Izzy and Raf have hit the division.

thanks bro.....i like gamboa as for vasquez and marquez i think one more fight between the two will make them enough money to retire on,i really want to see juanma vs caballero it needs to happen.linares size and shape looks like he could move up a couple of divisions where the even bigger money is.

He is very good, if he was more active he would probably be on the pound for pound list. I'd like to see his chin tested at 130 though, he went down against lesser opposition at 126 where I thought his chin was a little shaky.

I like his timing and combinations, he throws some of the best combinations in the sport when he lets his hands go and his timing when he throws them is superb. Very good footwork, good handspeed, slick. The guy is the total package.

His power is OK, he's not a one punch knockout artist but if he manages to time his opponents right with 1 big shot they would feel it. He's more of an accumulation puncher.
