That's you? Man that should've been so cool. I really rooted for Marquez but after that trilogy I became a fan of Vazquez too, I was impressed with the way he lost the first fight and then he bounced back with two wins.

I just rewatched the Gatti v Ward Trilogy on HBO because they did that as a tribute to Gatti and that was pretty damn good trilogy....Barrera v Morales was awesome and Vasquez v Marquez was freakin brutal as well. All great fights.

ya, it was awesome... by both guys. Something, I can't describe. Its crazy when you see it on tv and dream to be in a position like that....(my dad and i dream) but to actually lived thru it. is indescribable! Both guys fought their hearts out. I think a lot of fans were going more for Marquez. But after the third fight, I think Vazquez won them over. Well enough to respect him.

Barrera claimed that him and Morales still have bad blood In his last interview, He said that when Jose Sulaiman made them hug eachother Morales squeezed him too hard on purpose and that barrera gave him a push and that afterwords Morales was just mad dogging him LOL I guess some things never change haha!

great trilogy indeed. though i wont consider them rivals cause gatti and ward are good friends. they like to chat in the ER lying beside each other after their fight
