Cotto will TKO (scare the **** out of the ref to stop the fight) Pacman or win by UD (because of the couple or few 10-8 rounds.) Cotto while his tank of gas is full, at least into the 6 & 7 round, is capable of handing Pacman a few flash knock downs before the 6th! And even in the 10-12 when Cotto is dead tired HE still is capable of handing Pac another flash knockdown! You will see during Press Conference and Weigh in... Cotto is a much bigger man! (keyword: many flash knockdowns)

I like Cotto's perfessionalism. He's always displayed it throughout his career and regardless of what Roach thinks or says, I know Manny respects that. Manny and Cotto are very similar in personality in that they are humble, do their business in the ring. In that respect so was Ricky Hatton. Their corners mostly did the talking, but that's just to help sell the fight when the fighters don't open their mouth. Of course Cotto is also sounding abit like Hatton when Hatton said, Oscar was washed up, over the hill weight drained, and Diaz was a weak 135lbs champ. Cotto saying Hatton was overrated. So this fight has already taken the same traits as Manny's last fight. Just expect a nice 24/7 and a great fight.

It could very well happen. I think the biggest mistake Manny's camp made when taking Cotto is thinking too much of Cotto's loss and specifically his last bout with Clottey. Clottey is a big and strong welterweight. He'd give anyone hell. Margarito is also huge and extremely strong for welterweight. Cotto took both of them on being the small guy so to speak. Not only did he give back a lot that he took, but he absorbed ALOT from these huge guys. Cotto knows what it's like to get hit by a 160+lb fighters. Does Manny? Cotto has hurt 160lb+fighters. Has Manny? Have they thought about that stuff?

I've actually heard Roach talk more about the Judah and Mosley bouts and how Cotto was able to take away their speed and time them..Roach is an excellent coach..and will teach Manny how to try and pace this fight..

My only thing is..Cotto is a smart fighter and can box, brawl, counter, etc..If Cotto comes in doing something Manny doesn't expect can he adapt?..I can't recall him doing so..because once people switched the game up..he's looked more vulnerable and starts getting hit..A LOT!..and Cotto has the power to put Pac away!

because manny beat odlh, the superstar. and then he beat hatton, england's superstar. everyone is blinded by these 2 wins. Cotto has fought better opposition in the last 2 fights. also, Cotto was going to fight odlh if he got past margaracheato. but margaracheato used cement bricks and blocked Cotto's way to fighting Oscar. and thus Oscar had to fight manny. Don't worry, Cotto will be the new draw on Nov. 14

                hey brah....,
any which way i look at it, cotto should be the favorite.
he had traded power shots with big welters and came out in one piece.
manny is a midget with quick hands and fast feet.
i am counting that cotto will not land a meaningful shot on manny.

                to sweeten the pot,....
my 30k on your 50k that manny beats your miguel.
                i sig my bet now....

Yeah, but Pac is the favorite. No odds 50k straight up.

People forget that Cotto is a natural southpaw who can still fight and deliver in the southpaw stance. People also forget that he was able to win the Mosley fight by timing Mosleys speed. Cotto is exceptionally well at timing.

As Puerto Ricans, I feel that if Cotto refuses to talk trash and is adamantly civil, then we should also. Think about how ridiculous it looks to argue with someone calling themselves PacBoy on a message board. Let's show them our class by ignoring them.

These particular Pac fans (with the exception of fans like el pac, who bring something to the table) are going to learn what hubris is and that it serves no one.
