Timing? It remains to be seen. Cotto has great timing against conventional boxers of welterweight proportions, which means they're usually slower compared to the smaller Manny.

Jab? If you can knocked down Clottey with a jab, you definitely have a great and strong jab! Specially Cotto is a converted southpaw. Unfortunately, it won't be that effective against a southpaw, because the southpaw's lead hand will always be in the way most of the time. Both boxers' jabs will nullify each other, I think. It will be like playing escrima (fencing).

Cotto's bodywork is one of the best in the business, IF he can get his opponent trapped in a corner, or if his opponent let's it all hang out and trade with him toe to toe, be it in the corner or in the middle of the ring. That's were Cotto's wicked body shots takes it toll. I do believe that the body shot, when least expected by the unsuspecting recipient, has more effect than a head punch. Pacman's been moving well avoiding the body shots in last 3 fights. He knows that as his opponent/opponents got bigger and stronger, he has to improve his footwork to avoid the heavy bombs from them. He has to move well after delivering his shots because he knew his bigger opponents are more resilient to his power punches. Pacman's more patient now...

I'll answer it now..cuz I remember the **** like if it was yesterday..bro the fight was NUTS!..

Cotto droppin him in the first was like the best **** that could've happened for him and for us that were there live..the place ERUPTED!..but then less then 2 rounds later BAM a Butt!..cut Cotto up and from there it seemed like Cotto still had control and the environment was still going CRAZY!..but from like the 8th thru the 11th..it just seemed like those rights were magnets to Cotto's left eye!!..

I didn't sit down the whole time til the 9th where it seemed like Cotto was about to pull another Margarito and fade away..but then in the 10th he started to counter him like crazy!!..and from there it was back and forth action..the 12th was pretty much all Cotto..but I was still nervous about the decision..

then they call an SD..I was like ****!!..we lost!!..although I felt he had won..I was still thinkin it could still be a SD for Clottey..it was a close fight..then they call it.."MMMMMIIIIIIIGGGGGUUUUUUUEEELLLL COOOOOOOOOTTTOOOOOOOO"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Phew!..I lost my voice in that ***** homie..it was crazy!!..but it was a hell of a fight..and I'd blame that cut more then anything for Cotto not looking as sharp as he could..
