I am not comparing Ali and Frazier to Cotto and Pac, merely the history.

Frazier was KTFO by Foreman in what, the second round? KTFO!

They then gave us the Thrilla in Manila. Sure Ali "won". But Frazier was game, even with his lack of vision, he never quit. He was a damaged fighter, physically, but not in spirit.

An angry, focused, powerful guy is dangerous. Cotto is that guy this time.

You guys better watch out. Even if Pac wins, he might lose.

I don't think there has been a fair assessment of Cotto being damaged yet since Michael Jennings was destroyed and with Clottey he fought through a disasterous cut...which would have made any other boxer quit. I think a fair assessment will be made on November 14th. The only opinion I can give right now is that he still has the abilities of a boxer/puncher and his heart is not in question after the Clottey fight. Manny is going to have to dig deep within himself and look into the Abyss to beat Cotto.

This headline is contradictory to what Miguel really believes. He is afraid putting out his WBO belt and this only means one thing, and it is obvious. If the fight can still be revised and let it be on 140lbs with Manny's Belt at stake, at least we can say this is not going to be a friendly fight.
