Thats an awfully big assumption.
I like both fighters, and both of them are at a very tough point in their careers. A loss here for either guy is going to be very difficult to work back from.
That said, I dont think Paulie can keep Juan off of him. Juan wins a UD, staying in Paulie's chest and landing throwing leather all night.

diaz isn't a big puncher and paulie's defense is good enough to last the distance. even cotto couldn't stop the magic man.

diaz by decision for punch volume.

Im rolling with Paulie although I really like Diaz.
The thing is Paulie has been in there with guys who are big time punchers and Diaz is not.
I see this being a bloody fight but Paulie will win because of boxing ability and his ability to use his feet.
Diaz only fights one way.....fighting him should be easy.
