I'm not saying she's going to beat any top male boxers. My comment was aimed at the few people who started saying **** like "Get me in the ring with Ann Wolf!" as if simply being male would give them a chance against a fighter of her caliber in a boxing match.

a good while back I had the oppertunity to sparr with a womans champion. I dont know what kind of belt she held be she was recognized as a champion womens boxer. Any way we glove up and I see her shadow boxing with her gear on. Watching her i could only assume that she wasnt showing me any of her skill, wanting to save it for the ring. She threw her jabs rather slow, had no turn on the right and I never did see one defensive move while she was shadow boxing.

I was a good little amatuer in my day had a few pro fights and then walked away from the fighting part. i hadnt been in a gym in a long while and found myself rather rusty, but I would find I was much sharper than needed to work with her.

The bell sounded to start the first round of sparring. Assuming that she had the skill of a champion I tested the waters. I shot forward with a rather solid jab that landed easily to the top of her head gear. Her eyes closed as she raised her gloves, exposing her body. The soft return jab that she offered was easily parried. Move alittle and lightly throw the jab, to the top of her head gear it again lands. She would fire back with what she had but it was nothing to fear or even be litely concernered about.

This is how it was. I was boxing a professional womans champion and had to play with her like she was a porcelain doll, a beginner. Sticking my head out to offer her a shot and slip it, easily. Throwing one-two combonations at not even half speed and having them land. If I was a bastard and decided to show my ass on her she would have been bombed out in seconds, no kidding. It was like I was boxing with an amatuer, and a beginning amatuer at that. it ended up where i just slowly moved about the ring throwing my blows even slower and softer than I would an amatuer male fighter, and easily slipping and blocking her so called punches.

This was just one womens fighter, I know that every one is not like her but quite frankly most are. Lucia Ryjker being the only exception that I have witnessed. Me and this lady were the same weight but the strength was not there for her to hurt me. Ryjker may have more strength than her but I am almost certain that she would not even compare to mine. Thats not a thing I am bragging about, its just the way I see it.

This woman vs. man thing will end when one of these hyped women are laying bloody and beaten, hanging onto life by threads on the canvas after being beaten by a man who had no remorse or feeling about beating a woman. But hey, thats the game they signed up for and if the commisions and officials want to let men and women fight eachother it is something that they are going to have to deal with, the death of a woman at the hands of a man.

Stop the circus bull****, get these women the amatuer background that they so badly need and stop making me sit through 8 to 20 minutes of slapping and grabbing **** they call womens boxing on television. Once again there are exceptional womens boxers out there but they are verrrrry few. Most of all stop this men vs women crap. It is better suited for the circus, not professional boxing. Or I sadly ask, are they becoming one and the same?.....Rockin'

Women do need more amatuer exposure, but you sound pretty damn ****y yourself. I think if you got in the ring with Wolf or Rijker, you migh be unpleasantly surprised. Wolf is a big girl with thump, not some little mama. She has man muscle and if you don't know this watch her fight, man. All girls = not created equal.

hunter's vs mother's. i dont care how good they are its never going to be fair unless these chicks fight a guy whose 2 or 3 weight divisions below them. i think its a joke to let this happen, if they want to fight let them fight each other. period

well superlightweight that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Have you ever sparred? Have you ever sparred a woman? I stand by my words with experience and confidence. I spent my time in the amatuers and learned it well. Spent my time in the pros and did the same. Neither of those women have anything on me. The slugs that they are probably going to put in front of these woman I would have no trouble bombing out in under a round. Just watch, this guy will have little to offer a woman opponent and nothing to offer against a male opponent. Its plain and simple, women do not have the natural strength to compete with men in combat sports.....Rockin'
