Don't believe a word of it, at least not until I talk to Brian Young of Prizefight Boxing, (she is signed with them after all)I was just with the guys from Prizefight all last weekend, and they didn't mention a thing about it to me, and for something like this, I am sure they would have.

This Promoter "Dane" can't just decide to put her in a fight against a man and neither can the brand new Mississippi Commish. Jon Lewis, they have to go through Prizefight Promotions, Wolfe is their fighter....

I hope you're right. This kind of crap *****s a really bad light on the sport of boxing. As if Butterbean wasn't bad enough.

This could be a competitive fight, it just depends on who the guy is.

Even though Spinks is though of as feather fisted, and he would be outweighed by about 15 -20 pounds, he will still knock her out in a few rounds. In fact, you could go all the way down to the 120 pound fighters who will break her down, like Rafeal Marquez.

For this fight to be competive, the guy needs to be some old (~40) journeyman with a pretty even record (30-30) and be fighting in a lower weight class by about 30 pounds.

This sounds like a pretty bad idea, but if it was on, I would watch it.

Hell, I'd take her on for $100,000! They can label me all the woman beating bastards under the sun for $100k! If I got my ass kicked, what the hell, I still got $100k!

          Lol

Give her a lighter guy like Raf Marquez. You think a top quality Batam weight could take her out at 175 and him at 122?

Plain and simple, women should not box men. The natural strength difference is just too much. Yeah, she might get by this slug (assuming they will match her the same way as the other woman) but what happens if she gets real HYPE from this fight and people actually start believing that woman can compete with men on an even level in the fight game. Sometime in the future one woman will get this hype and be matched with a real male fighter, it could be tragic. All of this non sense will only stop when a woman is beaten to death by a man.

These kind of promotions are only going to damage boxings already flawed public perception. To me it was bad enough that butterbean became a main event attraction. Now they have basically amatuer women competing on television as professionals. It reminds me of an undercard bout on a card that i fought on in Lansing. Jeff "the belly" somethin'. This guy was pittyfull and got dropped quickly. How low can we go.

Like I said this is trouble brewing. Will it take the death of a woman before these promotors come to their senses. I hope not..........Rockin'
Seconded, save this type of **** for Celebrity Boxing - thx.
