spanish and filipino(dont know the real name of the language) are kinda alike but its cool that he took the time to learn a lil bit of spanish. good luck to him.

also whats up with the stick hitting it looked like he was barely getting hit and he was screaming all over the place. Probably got hit like 1000 times

The stick is a thai stick they say to strengthen his abs. He's been doing it since Barrera fight to make his abs very hard to take unexpected coming body shots easier to take it's like a rock hard stick that hurts like a ***** by light hits because it's like hollowed out or something. Each hits feels like a sting, especially at that pace he was going. The filipino language is called Tagalog and it does resemble the spanish language which is why it seems he can speak it better than english.

the eexecercise is with thai sticks. they must hurt after getting hit for a while. Manny wouldn't be screaming in pain if they didn't.

spanish and filipino ARE very similar. I can understand when someone talks to me in spanish but have difficukty answering back.

And yah I was like why Shakira. I'm guessing it's for rythm. He prolly likes a quick beat so I guess it's rightfully suited to get into a rythm.

I know some martial arts guys that get hit in the stomach with those sticks and they say after a few hits it hurts like hell.
