I really hope not. Pavlik was an up and comer for whom I was really routing for a while. Unfortunately, considering his fall from the elite, and his promoter being silly, I fear that we may have seen the best of him. I really hope I'm proven wrong, however.

I dont see how Pav has fallen from Elite. He got schooled by one of the best p4p fighters of this era. I don't think Pav has even peaked yet as a fighter.. The next 2-3 years will tell us. He wasnt beatin by a Castillo or Margarito..he was beatin by an ATG .....Hops is a better fighter at LHW at this point in his career. He proved this by schooling Tarver for 12 rounds and even scoring a KD. If anything Pav will be an all round better fighter for the beating Bernard gave him.
