Jose Arboleda Passes Away Due To Injuries

BoxingScene.com was advised that super bantamweight Jose Arboleda (23-4, 9KOs) passed away this morning at Santo Tomas Hospital in Panama City. The 27-year-old boxer died from injuries that he suffered as a passenger on a public bus. The bus driver lost control of the vehicle and went over a cliff. Two other passengers have died. Arboleda was scheduled to fight Feider Viloria on September 5 in Panama City.

Hope August would be completely different from July, and the accidental death of Arboleda is just an isolated one. Though Jose is generally unknown fighter to the world arena, and by his untimely death made his name known rather than his accomplishment, I believe that basing by his record, he have that heart and determination to outline his way to stardom. But alas.. his dream will never become a reality. RIP Jose Arboleda.
