Who's the fresher guy? Cotto or Pacquiao?

There are some givens for this fight. Without a doubt, Cotto is the bigger man, while Pacquiao is the faster guy. One thing that we haven't discussed is who is the fresher guy? Cotto may be 2 years younger and 20 lesser fights than Pacquiao, but he went through hell 3 times in his last 5 fights. Mosley, Margarito and Clottey is like the dreaded trio of the welterweights that most welterweight fighters will avoid, while Pacquiao on the other hand, is almost untouched in his last 3 fights.

Fighting the 3-headed monster (Mosley, Margarito & Clottey) might serve Cotto in good stead in his future bouts, and the three easy pickings might make Pacquiao complacent in his next fight, but it could also work the other way around.

Did those 3 fights took something out of Cotto? Will Pacman be the fresher and the stronger guy come the championship rounds because he didn't break a sweat against Diaz, De La Hoya and Hatton?

Call me a cheat or even a nit, but I always do my homework when it comes to boxing.

    Poll will follow...

Wear and tear is about the same IMO but Cotto has been in tougher fights physically recently.

I know for a fact that most Pinoys usually takes a bath twice a day, which is way better than a shower because of the PI's humidity. How about Boricuans? Going to beaches don't count BTW...

No offense mate but it really sounds like an advance excuse if Cotto losses to Pac this coming November.

Pacquiao is going to be the fresher guy im not sure about him gettin complacent though he trained hard for DLH and Hatton I don't think even Freddie Roach thought those fights would be that easy.

But Cotto has definately been through the wars and he has been cut in his last fight and quite a few fights before that.
I didn't think Cotto would be the same fighter since the bout with Margarito but he looked extremly good taking apart Jennings and i think had he not been cut in the Clottey fight he would have won just more convincingly. He did what he had to do in that fight and showed a true warrirors heart once again but the question is have all these wars taken their toll on him we'll have to wait and see

In my mind Cotto is still undefeated because Maragrito is a cheating bastard

Pacman has not had to box under pressure for a while but thats not to say he isn't ready for a war cause i think he will be

Manny is bound to be fresher he has only boxed just over 10 rounds in the last two fights but Cotto knows this is an opportunity to really perform on the big stage
it should be one heck of a fight thats for sure

I think Pacquiao might just be two quick for anyone in that divison bar Floyd.

I don't know about you but i wanna see another Pacquiao vs Marquez fight

if Floyd beats Marquez and Cotto beats Manny could this happen?

I'm just stating the obvious, Cotto went through hell and back, while Pacquiao was just like on a shopping spree in his last 3 fights. Pacquiao went through his own hell against Morales (I) and Marquez (twice), and it made him what he is right now. Those wars made him better and stronger. If for some reason Cotto show some cracks and loses on Nov. 14 because of the wear and tear he got from those tough fights, then that will say a lot for Manny, who went through the same test and passed with flying colors, and those are the stuff legends are made of...

I want to see a 3rd fight too, but I doubt it will ever happen, UNLESS

If both Top Rank and GBP offers something big that Pacman can't refuse. It has tobe bigger than what he will get this November. That's the only chance it will happen, I think...

                    Pac, easily.

Not knocking his abilities at all, but he took zero damage in his past three,
without evidencing a lack of desire to win or dediction to training.
Cotto's had his head plastered and headbutted into a bleeding mess.

Pac today is obviously much-improved from his Mexican-war days.
Cotto? Tough, but some say he's lost half a step since Stony Margarito.
