Pacquiao Cotto fight at 145lbs (No Belt) I don't get it

I don't get it why Cotto is not putting his belt on the line. I know welter weight start at 141 and max out at 147 but Cotto agreed to fight Pacquiao at 145. Cotto said to the world that if they fight at 145 he wold have no problem. Just to be a little more fair for Pacquiao so he dosn't get outweight by a ton on fight night Pacquiao demand that they fight at 142. Cotto refuse so Pacquiao gave in on Cotto demand at 145. 145 is welter weight and it's where Cotto said he would be fine but now he's being di(k about it. I would understand if the fight was to take place at 142 but the fight ia at 145 where Cotto said he is ok with.

True but this whole ordeal has nothing to do with the money. Pacquiao is a small Jr. Welter so he wants a fight with Cotto for his belt. Cotto said 145 and they should be good to go. Pac said 142 but gave in on 145. Now Cotto is saying no belt unless it's 147. Gee Cotto, I thought you were good to go at 145... what happened?

What is there not to comprehend? They agreed to 145lbs., with no belt on the line.

What is there not to comprehend? They did not agree to 145lbs., with no belt on the line. That`s why no contracts have been signed yet and the match could be canceled anytime soon..

They didn't agree to a fight with no belt on the line. I'm sure both party know this was a title fight but Cotto is just acting dumb right now.

The belt shouldnt be on the line. How are you gonna call yourself Welterweight Champ if you didnt beat let the champ come in at the Welterweight limit??
