This is good **** man, and I'm delighted. Paul Williams was kind of getting on my nerves with his excessive demands. But looking back at it now, I'm not mad at him at all. He had some cards to play with like a guaranteed HBO date and he utilized it. Now that the negotiating is over with, we've got a fight on our hands. And big credit to Pavlik for stepping up to this challenge. He has redeemed his rep somewhat.

The version of Pavlik that fought Miranda, Zuniga and Taylor would stop Williams, but the more recent, less energetic version of Pavlik who fought Hopkins and Rubio will lose a wide decision to Paul.

Which version of Pavlik will we see?

I'll be the first to say GO PAVLIK, knock P-WILL OUT!!! I sincerely think Pavlik will win if he isn't damaged goods from the lesson Hopkins gave him.

And why is everybody so down on Pavlik? It's not his fault that HBO never pushed that fight with Abraham like it is doing with Williams. I think Williams is a tougher challenge anyway even though Abraham has a more proven track record at the higher weights. And if Abraham loses to Taylor then it is going to look like it would've been almost pointless of Pavlik fighting him. I'm not necessarily going out of my way to root for that to happen, but everybody knows what I mean.

The version that fought Hopkins was no different IMO. He just got undressed and coudn't land on a defensive fighter.
