I mean come on man. Why do Floyd fans use this guy as a measuring stick for Floyd's greatness. Their fans use Mayweather's hand injury as an excuse for not putting up a crowd pleasing performance against Ta Ta. But Forrest wiped Baldi off the map and sent him in retirement with that damaged shoulder. Why don't Floyd fans give Forrest any credit for ending this feather duster salesman's career?

you injure your hand and try to KO someone, Floyd was puttin on a BOXING clinic deal with it. A real boxing fan can appreciate raw boxing but you sir dont know **** esi

Forrest has twice the balls that Floyd does. Do you think Floyd would've tried to shoot it out with somebody if someone tried to snatch his medallion? He'd go hide behind Snitchy Cent.

Funny really how he fought since the Forrest fight (R.I.P)...

Plus Forrest is bigger than Floyd... the weight difference between him and Baldomir on fight night was huge...

Nobody uses Baldomir as a measuring stick of Floyd's greatness anyway, but truth is he was still ranked #1 at WW at that time and was the lineal champion.

            Wow talk about hating...

            Its clear you dislike him...

Anyway, as tragic as his death is... as brave as he was there and then, that has nothing to do with what happens in the ring (R.I.P again, much respect).

Funny thing is, if Floyd was to get into any kinda trouble regarding guns he would be slated for it...

I think that Mayweather is a good fighter. I'm using this thread as kind of a tribute to Vernon Forrest. It's not all about discrediting Floyd. I'm just pointing out some people that don't have the courage the guy had. How does Nate Campell look wearing a Gatti Shirt and coming into the ring with that AC/DC song and then quitting?

Well he did want the fight with my boy Mosley instead. That's another story. If Floyd fought Margo and won. People would have been saying Margo was a bumb. I think Floyd is a fighter who gets hated on for everything he does

                  Worthless thread.

You sound like you dislike Floyd and if you call that a tribute to Vernon Forrest, you're doing a horrific disservice to his memory.
