Everytime someone says "boxing is a business" in response to a question of whether or not they will fight a person, you can tell it's a cop out.

have a feeling "señorita"lopez will not fight this guy, like caballer said,if you don't want to fight, just say so,don't ask for a million dollars,he hasn't done anything to deserve that, nothing. hasnt' beaten a top fighter, hasn't beaten another champ (unify),to ask for a million? like caballero said, just say you don't want to fight juanmaricon

Kinda sounds like the same chit Roach and Arum were saying about Mosely. The only thing is that Manny had a better options of Fighters and Lopez really has no excuse other than not wanting to risk his pretty record. It sounds like Caballero is willing to give every advantage, even fight in Puerto Rico, so i dont see why this fight cannot happen. It already has the Hype that Mayweather/Miranda type fighters crave for and Caballero is winning favor with the fans (something hard for Mayweather) so the fight will get bought by HBO for sure. Whether or not Lopez gets his millie is a mute point considering the Winner is guaranteed big time fights and Money from then on out, but believe me JuanitaMa will get paid. So the only reason must be that Team JuanitaMa is just too Joto to man up for a real fight. I Give Caballero and E for Effort but i think JuanitaMa would rather give him the finger and not fight.

Juan Ma Lopez is probably going to pull this same **** that he is doing when he moves up in weight. And when he does, I hope the fellow Ricans on here keep the pressure on him and keep holding him to the same standards they do. There are some good young fighters at 126 like Concepcion, John, Juarez and Santiago. And if he isn't fighting Caballero at 122 he better fight one of the other guys I mentioned, or else he is a joke.

            Breaking News!!! Perhaps?

            http://www.primerahora.com/diario/no..._juanma/321019

            Brief summary/translation:

According to reports that emerged last night, Lopez's representatives are interested in starting talks with Caballero once he gets past his Oct 10 opponent with the purpose of scheduling a fight for January, 2010. Moreover, the idea of holding the fight at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico (in San Juan) has not been discarded.

Lopez's manager Orlando Pineiro refused to completely confirm these rumors but acknowledged that the idea is attractive.

"It would be fantastic to have a full house at the 'Choliseo!' In business terms it would be an absolute success, but Caballero has to understand how this business works and its not by mouthing off."

Pineiro added, "When you are just talking everything sounds easy. His handlers should dissuade him from talking so much nonsense and instead look to get in contact with Bob Arum so we can begin the negotiations."

Sounds a little more promising! Lets get it on!!!

**** caballero go for Israel Vazquez or Rafael Marquez, who has Caballero faught, if Juanma fights caballero caballero is getting knocked out!
In your fantasy world maybe.. Caballero is too much pressure for lil softy... thats why softy has issues getting in the ring with a real man... a guy who is not the pushovers Juanma is trying to fight... if you read between the lines he says Caballero doesn't bring money yet he is currently about to fight Rogers Mtagwa of 12 losses for bits of crumbs... Im sure Rogers will bring loads of money to the table!! (yeah mutha****in right). He is full of crap and I'm starting to smell a little estrogen coming from Lopez' camp.

What's really sad is the Juanma will earn more from beating Mtagwa than Caballero ever has. Having said that, Juanma needs to step up and not act like a b*tch.
