Lamon Brewster To Face Gbenga Oloukun on August 29

Lamon Brewster (35-4, 30 KO´s) will return to the ring on August 29 when he takes on Gbenga Oloukun (16-1, 10 KOs) on the undercard of the WBO Cruiserweight Title Fight between Victor Emilio Ramirez and Marco “Captain” Huck. It will be Brewster´s second bout for Team Sauerland following a successful debut in March 2009 in Kiel where he cruised to a clear points victory over Michael Sprott. “I expect to put on a great performance and show how good I really am,” the former WBO Heavyweight Champion said. “I believe I am about two fights away from the world title.” [details]

I was hoping Brewster would fight one of the heavyweights currently ranked by the sanctioning organizations.

Oloukun isn't bad, but he's not ranked and he's coming off a loss to Manuel Charr.

Brewster has already brutally KOed (looked something like my username/avy when it happened) the current Ring Heavyweight champion. Good career I'd say.

Getting caught with left hooks when you're fatigued is the worst.

Brewster/Haye or Brewster/Valuev would be nice to see. When he lets his hands go I can see Brewster taking anybody in the divison other than the Klitschkos.

Oloukun is decent until he tires after the first few rounds.
