Well everyone knows that when manny throws (especially combinations)his he gets off balance and I think that Cotto will be able to take advantage and counter the **** out of pac. Manny is not the best boxing technition, whether you want to agree or not and Cotto is much better in that aspect of the game, so i believe cotto can capitalize off mannies mistakes(being off balance and not working behind the jab as often). Pac advantage will be looking to hit with vicious uppercuts underneath the earmuffs of cotto, which is one of cottos great weakness. Love um both so dont bash my opinion, your thoughts???

It is a well known strength according to sports analysts and sportscasters, that Manny throws shots off-balanced and is actually one of his most lethal techniques cuz it can hardly be anticipated by opponents.

True to a certain extent, cuz marquez caught him slippin and i expect cotto do the same with more power behind his strikes

miguel's timing is good so pac being off balance can cause him troubles. but like the post above says, its also one of his strengths so we'll see. damn i cant wait for the fight

Cotto is no ****ing Marquez. He isn't a boxer nor a skilled counterpuncher. Pacquiao will light his eyebrow plucking ass up.

Yup he could. But the recovery of pac from an off-balance shot is fast. I can recall only JMM being able to time him. The rest, well...

Nways, Cotto is not without bad habits. Take a look at his fight with Malignaggi.

You can see that when he bend to throw a shot, he would often leave his head open. It's a good thing Paulie is not a puncher. He would often do this when pressuring his opponents. IMO, pac could get a shot in and move away before Cotto could even land a punch.
