MANNY PACQUIAO: 10x Faster than Cotto

Pacquiao's straight left is the fastest in the sports. Cotto's jab is slower compared it.

Pac looks almosts as fast on the heavybag as he does shadow boxing. But i think he is hitting the heavybag too low. Hes fighting a mideget and aiming far too low.
But that is insane speed. Too try keeping those punches off you for 12 rounds must be so hard. That is why you have to concuss him to make him not be like a speeder up cartoon charater. Or do something nasty to him like hit him to the body where he cant move those piston arms.

That’s why Pacquiao’s opponents can’t see where Manny’s punches are coming from. They may be able to block or evade one or two of them, but it’s almost impossible to block or evade all of them when punches are raining.

Furthermore, Pacquiao never gets tired. He never gets punched out. He will rain speedy combinations on his opponent from round 1 to 12.

no one is denying that, but cotto isn't as slow as people think. Please go and watch the cotto mosley fight, its all over youtube. Cotto wasn't faster than mosley that night, but his timing was just spot on which can offset all the speed in the world. Cotto's jab is damn near perfect and possible top 3 best in the sport, its powerful and very quick. Cotto fights orthodox, but his a natural southpaw, essentially that "jab" is straight left with solid power on it. Actually, its a lot like manny's "quick" straight left which you saw a lot of in his oscar fight, the difference is cotto's is probably faster and strong than manny's quick left, not his power left.

Anyway, cotto has shown time and time again he can handle speed. Mosley, judah, malignaggi. His problem is being overpowered, which i don't think manny can do. By no means am i saying that manny will be a push over, i feel he can easily win just as much as cotto, he'll just have to be constantly bouncing in and out. But the thing that makes manny great is his warrior attitude and he wants to exchange with is opponent. If manny gets lured into this, and i know he will, he always does and he can't help it, is where i see the fight taking a different toll. I think early, manny gets the best of cotto, however, once that body work that cotto will put on manny i feel will take its toll.

We're not sure of manny's chin yet at this weight, and even if his chin is able to take the power, its the abundance of punches to the body that will hurt manny. Its not going to be just the amount but all the power behind them, and constant at that, i just don't know if manny's body can handle that much pressure and damage this high up after most of his career has been at lower weights. I'm calling cotto by late late ko, maybe 11 or 12 with a body shot or very close sd.

handspeed is pretty close, foot speed pac by a mile.but that could be canceled out with timing.

I'm assuming you DID NOT watch both Marquez fights and first morales fight? Pacquiao is fast, very fast but 10 X?? Please be reasonable. I notice he'll throw 10 punches at a time but 6-7 will be very wild and miss and cotto is very good at catching that. Mosley/judah are fast, maybe not as fast as pacman, but they are fast and miguel reacted very well to their "QUICKNESS". I can say that Cotto is 5 X powerful than Pacman but i would be laughed at in this forum.

PLEASE be responsible when posting a thread like this. Pacquiao is NOT invincible and if you say he is 10X faster than cotto, what does that make him against Marquez in last fight? 20X?
