I think this is correct.

A more selfish individual might resent Vitali for coming back and stealing some of his thunder, but Wladimir seems generally happy for his brother.

I doubt Wlad has any thoughts of glory being STOLEN. That'd be a pretty childish attitude and not one that he possesses. I imagine he sees that there's plenty of glory to go around for the both of them.
